SKNNCC is proud to be taking the initiative to develop new approaches to Carnival Activities for Sugar Mas 49. This year’s Creative Arts Competition was launched on Monday 9th November and will present creative minds with the virtual opportunity to showcase their talent within the context of the Corona Virus crisis.
SKNNCC extends a call for registration to young artists who wish to make a submission to this year’s competition. To participate, entrants are required to create a poster, poem or dance under the theme “COVID-19 and Carnival”. Interested persons who wish to make a submission are asked to forward entries to [email protected] by Monday November 23rd, 2020. Prizes will be awarded to the top awardee of age groups 6 to 10 years, 11 to 14 years and 15 to 17 years.
As a committed advocate of youth development, the SKNNCC hopes to improve systems of support for young creative minds at this unprecedented time.
