(Monday, November 16, 2020) The St. Kitts Nevis National Carnival Committee has opened its Photography Competition “Sugar Scope” for entries, calling both professional and amateur photographers to submit their most visually captivating photographs to portray Sugar Mas through the lens of a photographer.

Entries competing for this year’s competition will be evaluated by a jury comprised of committee members, photographers, editors and other photography luminaries. The Jury members will judge the images based on the following categories:

SKNNC is honoured to create avenues to highlight the talent of local photographers and bring their work to a wider audience. Images captured should depict a national spectacle that include elements of culture and history and must be taken within the last six months. Human props must be included with the individual being the focal point or incorporated into the shot.
